Mirrin!!! Why don't you comment any more!?!
Yes, I know. It seems like I don't comment on anything here anymore. ;_;
To be perfectly honest, it's really got nothing to do with dA in and of itself. I have a bad case of internet information overload. To much to do every day... too many people to keep track of... something has to give and that something is the large amounts of time I used to put into commenting on tons of stuff that came my way.
Ok, well perhaps it does have a little something to do with dA. Not having thumbnails in the message center is a serious impediment to my ability to comment since I can't preview things to see what I'd like to comment on. I'm on 56k dailup and I just can't load everything that shows up in my message center. Nobody else I deal with charges money for thumbnails in their message center so the lion's share of my attention naturally gets drawn into other realms. Sad, but just a fact of life around here I guess.
It also doesn't help that dA is one of the slowest loading sites I ever routinely visit right now. Not only is loading slow, but more than a third of page load attempts time-out, which is frustrating beyond belief.
I do honestly try to at least have a look at some of the wonderful art that comes my way. Time, however, invariably conspires against me when it comes to comments. I still appreciate every one of my watchers and I still love the artwork of everyone I watch.
I am going to make an effort to find some more time to comment on at least some of the beautiful work that shows up in my message center on a daily basis. I may have to reduce myself to taking a random selection from the sum total, but that's better than nothing at all.

Reworking the purpose of my devaintArt gallery...
Time constraints have also affected the use of my deaviantArt galley. While I don't think it's particularly right for a semi-active amateur artist like me to have a totally empty gallery here, I just can't post everything I create here.
From now on, my gallery here will simply have a sampling of my work. Equation art will be the focus, though due to the issues I have with dA speed, I will have to keep to smaller sized renders (thank goodness EA scales so nicely). As always, I encourage any mathematically minded folks to have a look at
EACoder, a web-application created by
Patty (former dA member and now on the coding team at
storm-artists.net) that allows you program Equation Art and get the result as a .png image.
As for me, my primary place of internet residence will remain
storm-artists.net where I serve as the head of gallery moderation and also dabble in community relations, site theme design and other things as needed. My page there is
mirrin.storm-artists.net and my gallery there has a full collection of my equation art, fractal art, emoticons, etc.

Well, I shall take up your time no longer.
Until next we encounter one another in the vast, greenish-gray wilderness of dA,
